More from Dairyland Express

Lorenzo Cain needs a Gold Glove. He makes plays every night taking hits and home runs away from countless batters. He has not made an error this year in 366 1/3 innings. Lorenzo Cain’s 0.9 defensive WAR ranks him third in the national league this year and easily first on the team.

Cain makes more spectacular plays in the field than any other player. This year, he is leading the league in superlative plays with four. The other two guys on the team that have been great in the field have done it in less spectacular ways.

Manny Pina is one of the best defensive catchers in the game and has been for a while now. He has handled this pitching staff extremely well in his limited time due to the explosive bat of Yasmani Grandal. In games that Pina has started, the Milwaukee Brewers are 8-3 and he always controls the game from behind the plate.
