5. Randall Cobb has 1,000 yards receiving

Davante Adams is a near-lock to rack up at lest 1,000 receiving yards as long as he stays healthy. However, given that Aaron Rodgers is typically around the 4,000 yard passing mark, that means there will be plenty of opportunities for other receivers to do the same.

Jimmy Graham is certainly one candidate. Unfortunately, at 31-years-old, he’s lost a step or two and can’t stretch the field the same way he used to. Don’t get me wrong, he’ll still be a massive weapon, but the last time he had a 1,000 yard season was back in 2013.

It’s been a while since Randall Cobb has done it, 2014 to be exact, so it’s not a sure thing he’ll be able to do it again. The good news is Cobb was on track to have a great year before Rodgers got hurt in 2017. In the four full games he played with Rodgers before his injury, Cobb racked up 218 receiving yards on 23 receptions. If that were averaged out to a whole season he would’ve tallied 872 yards and 92 catches.

Now, Jordy Nelson is gone and the receivers are questionable at best behind Adams and Cobb. This should open the door for Cobb who is in a contract year and will be extra motivated to earn another nice contract after the 2018 season.
