Milwaukee Brewers prospect roundup: Timber Rattlers go off in Beloit

It’s an organization sweep! While the Milwaukee Brewers were taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the desert, the three minor league teams in action all took home victories.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers bats came to life, the Biloxi Shuckers got a game-winning home run from a top prospect, and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox held on to earn a win as well. Here’s the roundup for the Milwaukee Brewers‘ farm system…

F Wisconsin Timber Rattlers – 10, Beloit Snappers – 3

  • The TRats combine for 16 hits, including a leadoff home run from Joantgel Segovia and a three run blast from Demi Orimoloye.

What To Watch For:

  • After hitting his first home run of the season last night, keep an eye out for Nate Orf. The second baseman is slashing .362/.433/.492 in 35 games so far for the Sky Sox. If he continues to rack up hits at this pace, he will find his way to Milwaukee before the end of the season.
