Milwaukee Bucks: 3 Bold Predictions
Resurfacing as relevant last season, the Milwaukee Bucks rose from the ashes of their 15-67 record in 2013-14 to earn a respectable 41-41 record in 2014-15. Forming a young, dynamic team, Milwaukee is ready to begin its 2015-16 campaign. Beware though, this organization is not the one that annually provided false hope, while presenting a disheveled, unprepared team.
No, these are not the Bucks that continually pieced together a mismatched roster. These Bucks are the ones that finally committed to a rebuild, and gave Milwaukee a reason to cheer. The 2015-16 season is going to be an exciting one, Wisconsin fans, and here are three bold predictions to get you ready.
1. Milwaukee Wins 60-Plus
Overly ambitious? Perhaps, but I did promise bold predictions, and so bold is what I will provide. Winning 60-plus games would leave Milwaukee with very little margin for error. They would be allotted only 22 losses if they wanted to reach 60, and with a young, inexperienced roster, the expectation is insanely high.
Still, Milwaukee has the ability to obtain this goal. The roster contains plenty of talent, and Coach Jason Kidd is the perfect person to guide the young Bucks.
Offensively the Bucks are challenged, but their defense has been solid. For Milwaukee, playing fundamentally sound basketball will be vital. If the Bucks can excel in the basics of basketball, and maintain a strong defensive stance, they could very well find themselves with 60-plus wins by the end of the season.
2. Milwaukee Makes Conference Finals Appearance

With the East predicted to remain relatively weak, the Bucks have the opportunity to make a conference finals appearance. While there are not many analysts or pundits that would support this idea, Milwaukee does have one important aspect on their side. They have the element of surprise. Sports are shocking.
Season after season, teams come out of the woodwork to add a little drama. In sports, one must always expect the unexpected.
Claiming that the Milwaukee Bucks make a conference finals appearance sounds crazy, and it is for that exact reason that I have chosen it for one of my bold predictions. If the Bucks can capture a playoff position, and start a hot streak, they can easily make the conference finals. After all, when it comes to the playoffs, seeding becomes meaningless.
The hottest team often takes the prize, and the Bucks would be poised to snatch a spot in the conference finals.

3, Jason Kidd Wins Coach of the Year

After briefly being in the discussion last season, Jason Kidd lost the honor of Coach of the Year to Mike Budenholzer of the Atlanta Hawks. This year, Jason Kidd could be a strong candidate. If the Bucks play to their potential, and indeed shock the basketball world like I predict, Kidd would find himself in the discussion.
Considering the young, inexperienced roster, and his short tenure with the team, Jason Kidd would make a strong case for Coach of the Year. While this award relies solely on the team’s performance this upcoming season, it is a distinct possibility. Given the recent coaching carousel that Milwaukee had experienced, Coach Kidd seems like a stable solution.
If he can continue to build this team, and motivate his players to reach their potential, he just might be Coach of the Year.
Are the predictions bold? Absolutely; but they are not unattainable. The key word for Milwaukee this season is potential. If their roster plays to the level that they are able, they can make these bold predictions a reality. Even if this article proves to be futile by the end of season, fans are in for an exciting ride.
While Milwaukee may not capture these three goals this season, they are not far from becoming a dominant force in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks are going places, and it’s time to jump on the wagon.
