Player of the Week

This is about as easy as it gets for deciding who the player of the week is.

Giannis had a career week, posting back to back career highs in points against the Lakers (25) and the Rockets (27).

Not only did Giannis score, but he was incredibly efficient in doing so.  In his last three games, Giannis has scored 66 points on 27 of 40 shooting.  The kid is picking his spots better than ever before, is being more aggressive driving and shooting the ball, and is contributing in almost every aspect on the court.

Later this week we’re going to take a look at how Giannis’ game has evolved since coming into the league and looking at the incredible progress he has made in such a short period of time, so stay tuned for that.

In the mean time, look forward to two more Bucks games before the all-star break.  Milwaukee plays at home Monday night against the Nets, and then at home again Wednesday night against the Kings.  After Wednesday’s game, Milwaukee will have nine days off, not playing again until Feb. 20 against the Denver Nuggets.
