Player of the Week

This week I’m looking at the productivity and veteran presence O.J. Mayo had.

Mayo has been one of Milwaukee’s most consistent players this year, and he played a major role in Milwaukee’s win Wednesday night.

Kidd stuck with Knight, Parker, and Antetokounmpo for almost the entire game Wednesday night, but Mayo played a huge part as well.  On the court, Mayo hit big shots down the stretch to help seal the win for Milwaukee.  On the bench, Mayo seemed to install some much needed confidence into his friend and teammate Brandon Knight after the missed lay up.

Mayo ended the night with 21 points, seven rebounds, and gave Brandon Knight a pep talk that seemed to have worked.

O.J. is an important cog in this Milwaukee machine, and he made his presence felt this past week.

Next week Milwaukee plays another four games in five days.  They get the Pistons Tuesday and Friday night, the T’wolves Wednesday night, and the Rockets Saturday night.

If there’s one thing fans should look for this upcoming week, it’s how Milwaukee can handle the paint.  Let’s hope it’s better this week.
