Running Back

With the wide receivers in flux (more on that in a moment), it’s the entire running back room that has stepped up in a big, big way for Green Bay.

More from Green Bay Packers

Aaron Jones leads the pack (pun emphatically intended!) and is having another tremendous season. He’s a beast both on the ground and through the air, presenting a true dual-threat problem for defenses. His 5.8 yards per rush is the highest in his career, and he’s on pace for more receiving yards than a season ago as well.

Jamaal Williams has stepped up his game as well, specifically in the passing game where he had 95 reception yards against the Falcons on Monday night. Tyler Ervin has also carved out a nice little role in the offense and adds some more dynamic abilities out of the backfield. We’ve yet to see much of rookie second-round pick A.J. Dillon who has only played 15 snaps this season, but it’s hard to work him in there given the success of Jones and Williams.
