5. Justin McCray

Justin McCray is a former undrafted free agent who is beginning to make a name for himself within the Packers’ organization. Whether that name has a positive or negative connotation attached is a story waiting to be written.

More from Green Bay Packers

Last season, McCray was a utility knife of sorts for Green Bay. He played in 13 games and started eight of them because of injury. During those games, he spent time at left guard, right guard and right tackle. However, the focus this season appears to be more on the right side.

Jahri Evans remains unsigned and Bryan Bulaga is still recovering from a torn ACL. That leaves holes at both the guard and tackle position. Fortunately, Green Bay has a few options at tackle, which means McCray will likely get first crack at earning the starting right guard spot. He doesn’t appear to have much competition which should allow him to comfortably work his way into a role and focus at one position. This will allow him to prove during training camp that he belongs with the starting unit.
