First quarter (4-0)

The Packers begin their season by playing four very winnable games. They kick off the year in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field on Sep. 9 playing against the Chicago Bears on the nationally televised Sunday Night Football. This will be the beginning of Aaron Rodgers’ revenge tour and it will start off with a bang as the Packers are far too talented for the Bears.

More from Green Bay Packers

The second week presents the biggest challenge in this opening quartet. The Packers host the Vikings and will certainly have payback on their mind. Given they play them at Lambeau Field, it will give Green Bay just the little edge they need against Minnesota and allow them to secure the victory.

In Week 3, the Packers hit the road for the first time as they travel to Washington to take on the Redskins. The Redskins have made a lot of moves in the offseason and are still a very formidable foe. Regardless, the Packers handle them to move to 3-0.

To wrap up this section, the Packers travel back home to take on the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are a team in flux and will get run over by the Packers at Lambeau to allow Green Bay to sweep the opening quarter.
