Green Bay Packers: 20 best draft picks since the merger
18. Marco Rivera
Marco Rivera was a nice little find in the sixth round of the 1996 draft when he was selected with the 208th overall pick. Offensive linemen are sometimes hard to judge, especially when comparing them to other players who have objective statistics to support their play.
Fortunately, Rivera’s play does all the talking, as he was selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2002-2004. He also anchored the Packers at right guard for six straight years after playing left guard for his first two seasons in the NFL.

To add to his accolades, he was voted as a first team All-Conference player according to Pro Football Weekly in 2003 and 2004.
Rivera played his last two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and was as durable as they come. He played in 155 of a possible 160 games throughout his career. In fact, he only missed one start from 1998-2004.
His toughness has been missed and they surely don’t make ’em like ol’ Marco Rivera anymore.
