14. Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville

Jaire Alexander out of Louisville kicks off the big board and might be a player of last resort for the Packers.

More from Green Bay Packers

At 5-foot-11 and 192 pounds, he’s a little on the smaller side for a corner and has struggled with injuries throughout college because of it. And although his play has been a little up and down, he was great down the stretch last season.

He’s a playmaker and has an extremely high ceiling if the Packers want to swing for the fences.

Todd McShay has him ranked as his number 15th overall prospect with a grade of 90 and has him placed in Tier 3 which means he projects him as a good starter. However, he might be higher on Alexander than most considering Pro Football Focus has him as the 40th player on their big board and seventh cornerback overall.

To help even the score a bit, Mel Kiper Jr. mocked him to go at number 18 to the Seattle Seahawks so it wouldn’t be a huge reach for the Packers. It will all come down to how Gutekunst and his staff see Alexander and if he’s willing to take a gamble on his first ever pick as the man in charge.
