Will the Packers Trade Any Players?

Unlike other sports, the NFL doesn’t usually make many trades around the deadline (or in general). However, this is an unprecedented season for the Packers, so it’s worth monitoring heading into the trade deadline on October 31.

Green Bay has several players in the final year of their contract whom they may not want to bring back next year. That could prompt them to dangle them for some mid-to-late-round draft picks since they appear far from competing for a playoff spot.

If the Packers feel they are just a player or two away from competing, several intriguing candidates are also available to acquire. It’s too early to tell, but Green Bay could go either way at this point.
