The 2023 NFL trade deadline is looming, and the Green Bay Packers could find themselves in a familiar position—embroiled in trade talks but often falling short in sealing the deal. General Manager Brian Gutekunst is known for his active participation in trade discussions, although the Packers have historically failed to secure high-profile acquisitions.

With the trade deadline set for Tuesday, October 31st at 3 p.m. CT, we have just over three weeks to dissect potential trade targets that could pique Green Bay’s interest. Here, we’ll spotlight five players worth monitoring as possible trade candidates for the Packers.

Here are five players worthy of keeping a close eye on, as the Green Bay Packers should consider trading for them as head near the trade deadline.

Packers’ Trade Candidate: Garett Bolles, Offensive Tackle, Denver Broncos

David Bakhtiari confirmed he had another knee surgery and is out for the rest of the year. Currently, the Packers are determined to ride out the season with Rasheed Walker as their starting left tackle and Yosh Nijman as their backup swing tackle.

However, if they want to upgrade their starting left tackle and provide Jordan Love with better protection, they could make a deal for Garett Bolles of the Denver Broncos. Bolles was a first-round pick back in 2017 and continues to play at a high level for Denver. He’s likely the best tackle available on the trade market.
