The Green Bay Packers head into Week 6 with the Bye-Week Blues, as they are 2-3 and just dropped back-to-back games with disappointing performances. Could they look to shake up the roster with a trade?

The NFL’s trade deadline is October 31, about three weeks away. Unlike other sports, we typically don’t see NFL teams make a lot of moves around the deadline which could make a trade unlikely. However, the Packers are in uncharted territory as a losing team with slipping playoff hopes.

I previously looked at five players the Packers could trade for, but let’s use this space to examine five players they could trade away.

Keep your eye on these five players on the Green Bay Packers who could be traded by the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline at the end of October.

Packers Who Could Be Traded: Darnell Savage

The Packers are stuck between a rock and a hard place at safety. They don’t have a long-term answer at the position nor do they have a short-term one.

Darnell Savage was considered their best safety heading into the season and is having another disappointing campaign. He’s missed five tackles this season and has allowed seven receptions for 76 yards without a pass breakup or an interception. As a free agent this offseason, Green Bay could jump the gun and trade him away, opening up playing time for rookie Anthony Johnson.
