The Green Bay Packers are looking to get two of their very best players back in Week 6 with Davante Adams and Kenny Clark poised to return.

The Green Bay Packers received great news when a couple of prominent players returned to practice on Wednesday. Davante Adams, who has been out since Week 2, and Kenny Clark, missing since Week 1, were both full participants.

Adams, who tweeted and then deleted his frustrations about missing the Packers’ last game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, has been dealing with a slight hamstring strain he suffered in Week 2. Without his top receiving threat, Aaron Rodgers hasn’t struggled like some originally thought, but he’ll definitely love getting one of the best wide receivers in the game back.

On the other side of the ball, Clark’s return will provide a huge boost to the defense, especially when it comes to stopping the run. Green Bay is thin with quality players along the defensive line and Clark’s absence has led to expanded struggles stopping the run. He should also free up blockers for their outside rushers to get after the quarterback with more consistency.

There were a number of limited participants in Wednesday’s practice which will be worth monitoring as the week progresses. Most notably were Jaire Alexander and Rashan Gary, however, Krys Barnes and Marcedes Lewis were also on that list. Only two players didn’t practice: Tyler Ervin and Kevin King.

As for the Buccaneers, Mike Evans and Carlton Davis (cornerback) were their only two players who didn’t practice. It will be interesting to see if Evans, who injured his ankle in Week 4 but has played through it, is good enough to go. He hasn’t missed any time yet, but has clearly looked hobbled. King would be a great fit to defend Evans if both go so let’s keep an eye on this pair as we move closer to gameday.
