Here is a look at the individual scouting reports for members of the Green Bay Packers’ 2020 rookie class. Including both drafted and undrafted free agents.

Unfortunately, rookie mini-camps were unable to take place as usual this offseason due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So that means we will have to wait until training camp to get our first look at the Green Bay Packers’ 2020 rookie class.

To say the least, this was an interesting draft for the Packers. They would trade up in the first round to select Aaron Rodgers’ eventual replacement. Then in Round 2 they would select running back A.J. Dillon, which nobody saw coming. And the same could be said for the Josiah Deguara selection in Round 3.

Meanwhile on Day 3, Green Bay would land a versatile linebacker, perhaps a future starting offensive lineman or two in Round 6, and they ended with a tremendous value pick in Round 7.

On top of that, there are some intriguing undrafted free agents that could push for roster spots this year, or at a minimum, the practice squad.

So as part of my post-draft analysis, I’ve taken a look at these players and complied scouting reports to help paint a picture of the type of player that the Green Bay Packers are getting. And in this Rookie Scouting Report Roundup, you can find all of them in one place.

Jordan Love – QB

It’s really easy to see what the Green Bay Packers liked so much about Jordan Love. While his game does need refinement, he also has the luxury of learning behind Aaron Rodgers. Click here to see what a few draft analysts have to say about his game.

A.J. Dillon – RB

Dillon gives the Packers another explosive running back and he will immediately compete for RB2 snaps with Jamaal Williams. Click here for the scouting report on Dillon.

Josiah Deguara – H-back

Deguara was a tight end at Cincinnati but in Green Bay he will be the H-back and according to Matt LaFleur, the Packers will use him similarly to how San Francisco uses Kyle Juszczyk. Click here for Deguara’s scouting report.

Kamal Martin – LB

At Minnesota, Martin lined up at multiple positions and had shown that he is a capable defender against both the run and the pass. Although he’s a fifth-rounder, Martin could push for playing time right away. Click here for Martin’s scouting report.

Jon Runyan – OG

Runyan was a tackle at Michigan but is best suited for the guard position in the NFL. While 2020 may be a learning year for him, don’t be surprised if he becomes a starter sooner than later. Click here for Runyan’s scouting report.

Jake Hanson – C

With Corey Linsley at center, barring an injury, 2020 will be a redshirt year for Hanson. But with Linsley’s contract expiring at the end of the season, Hanson could be the Green Bay Packers’ future starting center. Click here for his scouting report.

Simon Stepaniak – OG

Another experienced interior offensive lineman who found success at the college level, Stepaniak will provide depth with the potential of becoming a starter in the future. Click here for his scouting report.

Vernon Scott – S

The Green Bay Packers need added depth at safety and Vernon Scott gives them a player who can help fill that hybrid linebacker/safety role playing closer to the line of scrimmage. Click here for Scott’s scouting report.

Jonathan Garvin – EDGE

This is probably the Packers’ best value pick of the draft. Garvin was a highly productive edge-rusher at Miami and he is still just 20-years-old. Click here for Garvin’s scouting report.
