If the Green Bay Packers decide to make a bold move and trade up in the 2020 NFL Draft, they’d be wise to target any of these four players.

The Green Bay Packers are looking to the 2020 NFL Draft to make a big splash and acquire a playmaker to push them over the edge for next season. That’s a tall order for any rookie, but it’s the circumstances the team is in after a quiet offseason.

A year after splurging in free agency by acquiring Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith, Adrian Amos and Billy Turner, general manager Brian Gutekunst went to the bargain bin this time around. With right tackle Bryan Bulaga and inside linebacker Blake Martinez set for big contracts, the Packers allowed them to walk while signing cheaper replacements in Ricky Wagner and Christian Kirksey respectively.

Part of that is due to the gluttony of players needing contract extensions in 2021. That list includes, but is not limited to, Kenny Clark, Aaron Jones, David Bakhtiari and Kevin King. Green Bay might not be able to bring back all of those guys so they needed to make a decision this year to conserve money.

In order to anticipate the potential loss of established playmakers, Gutekunst and the Packers might entertain a trade in this year’s draft. They have 10 draft selections and could acquire another one by trading Lane Taylor in the coming weeks. Here are four players worth trading up for in this year’s draft.
