4. JK Scott

It feels a little odd to put a punter in this category, but there’s no denying JK Scott. Gutekunst was poked fun at when he used a fifth round pick in the 2018 draft to select the punter out of Alabama. The ribbing went even further when Scott had an up and down rookie campaign. However, he’s completely turned it around in his second season.

Scott has been an absolute weapon for the Packers this year. He consistently flips the field and pins teams deep in their own territory. He’s been able to combine booming punts with a hang time that allows his guys to get downfield as well. Green Bay has needed it, as he’s punted six or more times in three of their five games.

He currently ranks fourth in the NFL by averaging 48.3 yards per punt. The Packers are going to need more of that as they trudge through the tough NFL schedule.
