The Green Bay Packers didn’t play how they hoped during the first half of the season, finishing with a measly 3-5 record. That included losses to teams they expected to beat and reset their expectations for this season.

The good news is they still have nine games to turn it around. Green Bay is coming off one of their best all-around performances of the season, and hope that’s a sign of things to come in the future. Packers Breakout Candidates: Dontayvion Wicks

Dontayvion Wicks got lost in the preseason hype surrounding the likes of Luke Musgrave, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. However, he’s already proven he belongs in that conversation.

Wicks does a tremendous job separating from his man, showing a great burst. He’s also adept at making big plays and helping provide the offense with a spark. He’s becoming more involved in the offense after a lull from Week 4 through 7. I expect that trend to continue throughout the rest of the season.
