Packers Off to Surprising Starts: Anders Carlson

The most talked about player in the Packers’ training camp this year was Anders Carlson and how he was going to replace Packers’ legend Mason Crosby (okay, maybe not the most talked about, but it was oft-discussed).

Carlson was wildly inconsistent during the preseason, alternating between showing off his impressive leg strength and missing easy kicks. However, he’s been consistently good in games and big moments and has yet to miss a kick in his NFL career. Carlson has been perfect for the Packers and has given them a reliable kicking game to fall back on.
