The Green Bay Packers squeezed out a victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, scoring 18 points in the fourth quarter and being on the right side of a missed field goal. Call it payback for their fourth-quarter collapse last week.

As we’ve done every week, we will check in on the Packers’ stock market to see which players are falling, staying the same, and rising. We’ll continue to use PFF’s grades to help guide the way and keep this process as objective as possible. Remember, if a player’s stock is falling on a particular week, they lose one point; if it’s unchanged, they get zero points, and they receive a point if it’s rising.

Entering Week 2, here’s how the Packers’ stock market stood.

Let’s check in on the Green Bay Packers stock market after Week 3, including updates on David Bakhtiari, Rasheed Walker, Rashan Gary, and more.

Packers’ Bear Market (Stock Falling)

Biggest Fallers: Josiah Deguara (-3), Jon Runyan (-1), David Bakhtiari (0), Quay Walker (+1)

Others: Malik Heath (-2), Tucker Kraft (-2), Royce Newman (-2), Samori Toure (-1), Carrington Valentine (-1), Jonathan Owens (-1), Dallin Leavitt (-1)

While the numbers on the previous page were the players’ standings entering the week, the numbers in the parenthesis above are their updated totals after factoring in their Week 3 performance against the Saints.

Josiah Deguara continues to be awful on offense and is the only player to be listed in this section in every game this year. One week after being the Packers’ lowest-graded PFF player on offense…he’s once again their lowest-graded player on offense. This could be his final year in Green Bay at this rate.

Despite not playing on Sunday, I added David Bakhtiari to this section. He’s two-and-a-half years removed from his injury and has missed two games already this season. That’s probably just who he is at this point, and the Packers will have to live with it. It just sucks for him as a person and for the Packers as a team.

Packers’ Unchanged

AJ Dillon (-2), Patrick Taylor (-1), Kinglsey Enagbare (-1), Colby Wooden (-1), Isaiah McDuffie (-1), Justin Hollins, Innis Gaines (-1), Matt Orzech (-1), Josh Myers (-1), Luke Musgrave (0), Jaire Alexander (0), Elgton Jenkins (0), Corey Ballentine (0), Brenton Cox Jr. (0), Darnell Savage (0), Christian Watson (0), Ben Sims (0), Devonte Wyatt (0), Yosh Nijman (0), Emanuel Wilson (0), Zach Tom (+1), Dontayvion Wicks (+1), Jordan Love (+1), Jayden Reed (+1), Aaron Jones (+1), De’Vondre Campbell (+1),  Lukas Van Ness (+1), Preston Smith (+1), Eric Wilson (+1), Kenny Clark (+1),  (+1), Daniel Whelan (+1), Anders Carlson (+2)

Luke Musgrave: Surprisingly, he’s still at zero points on the year, considering how well he’s fared in the passing game. I might have to take a harder look beginning next week, but we’ll keep him here for now.

Christian Watson: I’m not freaking out about Watson’s hamstring yet, and we’ll see if he plays on Thursday against the Detroit Lions. If he misses the Lions’ game AND their game against the Raiders on October 9th, we’ll add him to the Stock Falling category.

De’Vondre Campbell: He left the game in the first quarter with an ankle injury and didn’t return. That’s a shame because he was off to a great start to the game. He might’ve been listed in the next section if it wasn’t for the injury.

Packers’ Bull Market (Stock Rising)

Biggest Risers: Romeo Doubs (+2),  Rashan Gary (+2), Keisean Nixon (+1), Rasheed Walker (+1), Rudy Ford (0)

Others: Rasul Douglas (+1), T.J. Slaton (+1), Karl Brooks (0)

Romeo Doubs hasn’t been as featured in the passing game without Christian Watson and Aaron Jones, but he continues to make timely catches. He had five receptions for 73 yards and a sick back-shoulder touchdown reception that gave Green Bay the lead. He should benefit from the increased attention Watson and Jones will get when they return to the offense.

Rashan Gary remains on a pitch count, but he was dominant in this game. He recorded three sacks and five total pressures in just 20 pass-rushing snaps. He will be a game-wrecker when he’s back to full health.

Rasheed Walker filled in nicely at left tackle and could be the silver lining in the Bakhtiari injury situation. He allowed just one hurry in 25 pass-blocking snaps against the Saints and has given the Packers confidence in him at left tackle. It’s clear why he passed Yosh Nijman on the depth chart.
