Packers: Top 10 Options to Replace Elgton Jenkins at Guard
The Green Bay Packers had one of the best offensive lines in football entering the season, particularly on the left side with David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins. However, that lasted a whopping four quarters following an MCL sprain to Jenkins.
Jenkins went down in the second quarter against the Atlanta Falcons when running back AJ Dillon landed on his leg. He finished the drive, but didn’t return to the game afterward, replaced by Royce Newman at left guard.
After the game, it was announced he sprained his MCL in his left leg, the same leg he previously tore his ACL in. His timetable is unknown, but he’s expected to miss several weeks.

That puts the Packers in a difficult position, considering Bakhtiari’s health is an unknown from week to week. What was previously a strength for Green Bay has quickly turned into a question mark.
