Tyler Davis

When the Packers acquired Tyler Davis in September of 2021, he was a younger tight end with intriguing potential. After two years of minimal development and production, Green Bay has two tight ends ahead of Davis on the depth chart who better fit that bill.

Davis is entering the final year of his contract and has both his Packers and NFL career on the line. He was a big part of the gameplan early in the season in 2022, but lost playing time as the season continued (part of that was due to the return of Robert Tonyan). He’s a core special teamer, but that might not be enough to continue his professional career. It’s time for him to take a step forward in his receiving and blocking prowess.
