Packers with uncertain futures: Tyler Goodson

The Packers only kept two running backs–Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon–on their initial 53-man roster last year, while sending Tyler Goodson and Patrick Taylor to the practice squad. Could they pull a similar move in 2023?

If so, Goodson will need another strong run in training camp and the preseason to earn a spot somewhere in Green Bay’s realm.

Goodson was a surprise player last year, coming on as an undrafted free agent and turning heads immediately. He has some added competition this time around. In addition to Taylor, he’ll be battling seventh-round pick Lew Nichols III and Emanuel Wilson.
