Packers with uncertain futures: Jake Hanson

It’s hard to fathom, but Jake Hanson is only 22-years-old entering his third season. However, he could find himself on the outside looking in when the initial roster decision is made.

After playing 61 snaps in the season-opener, he only saw the field for eight plays the rest of the season. With Zach Tom emerging as a candidate for one of the guard positions and Elgton Jenkins holding down left guard, there are fewer opportunities for Hanson.

Caleb Jones and Rasheed Walker are also intriguing long-term prospects. If they took the next step in their development this season, it would be hard for Green Bay to slide them to the practice squad again. That spells trouble for Hanson and his long-term prospects.
