Milwaukee Bucks: 5 front-runners to become next head coach
Front-runners to become Bucks’ head coach: Mark Jackson
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the Bucks are interviewing ESPN’s Mark Jackson for their head coach 0pening, drawing the ire of many fans.
This would be a massive mistake, in my opinion. Jackson was the head coach for the Golden State Warriors from 2011 to 2014, finishing with a 121-109 record during his tenure. His firing infamously led to the hiring of Steve Kerr and the beginning of a dynasty in Golden State.
He hasn’t been a coach for almost a decade now, instead spending his time as a color commentator in the broadcast booth. It’s unclear how much he has to offer the modern game. Unfortunately, there appears to be some interest from Milwaukee’s end at least.
