The Green Bay Packers added a massive 13-player 2023 NFL Draft class, addressing many of their needs heading into their offseason programs. However, several players were already on the roster that emerged as big winners.

Green Bay had so many holes they couldn’t realistically plug them all with one draft class. It didn’t help this year’s draft was weak at key positions such as safety and wide receiver.

Packers’ winners from Draft: Zach Tom

Green Bay drafted zero offensive linemen after it was hypothesized they might use their first-round selection on one. Their line is still in a good spot thanks to the drafting general manager Brian Gutekunst has made over the last few years, including several gems at various rounds.

Zach Tom, last year’s starter at right tackle, is one of the biggest winners. An early-round offensive tackle selection could’ve pushed him from his starting gig. Now, he’ll have the chance to earn the right tackle job again or even slide inside to right guard or center.
