Tight End

Similar to wide receiver, two veteran tight ends are free agents this offseason–Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis. Tonyan played all 17 games following his ACL tear, but lacked the explosiveness we saw from him in his breakout 2020 campaign. Lewis is a glorified sixth offensive lineman at this point of his career, but he is still valuable to have around.

The Packers could go a similar route as wide receiver if they pair an early draft pick with a veteran at the position. Lewis would be a great mentor for any rookie, on and off the field. Just as long as they don’t draft a tight end in the first round.
