Whatever the Green Bay Packers are doing right now isn’t working. That much is clear. So maybe an influx of talent would help.

The 2022 NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 1st at 3 pm central, which is just two weeks away. That means there is still time for Green Bay to strike a deal and help save their season. The top seven players who could be available at the deadline if they decide to go this route are as follows.

Here are the top seven players who could be available for a trade two weeks before the deadline if the Green Bay Packers are looking.

Denzel Mims, WR, New York Jets

Mims has been a healthy scratch in every game this season. The fact they are leaving out their 2020 second-round pick despite leaning heavily on young talent tells you everything you need to know about where Mims sits. New York reportedly asked for a fourth-round pick for him back in August. You can expect that price to drop significantly since he hasn’t been active in a game this season. Maybe the Packers could get him for a late Day 3 selection.

Clelin Ferrell, DE, Las Vegas Raiders

Green Bay’s pass rush has been decent, but Rashan Gary and Preston Smith are playing at an unsustainable rate. They’re on the field for far too many plays and it’s likely only a matter of time before we see one of the break down. Ferrell was a former top draft pick of the Raiders, but hasn’t lived up to the hype. He could try his hand in Green Bay as a rotational player before he hits free agency next offseason.

Kenny Golladay, WR, New York Giants

Golladay has struggled with injuries this season, a fact that might scare the Packers away (they are currently dealing with their own wide receiver injuries to Randall Cobb, Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins). Golladay is owed quite a bit of money, but the Giants are reportedly willing to eat a chunk of that salary. If that’s the case, the Packers should learn about his availability for a trade and on the field.

Robert Quinn, DE, Chicago Bears

Quinn might be an over-the-top acquisition for Green Bay as he’d either be the third pass rusher on the depth chart or move Smith into that third spot. However, the Packers could desperately use the depth and Quinn would be a terrific addition. He’s coming off an 18.5 sack season but only has one through six games this year. Maybe a change in scenery would help provide a spark.

Next. 3 changes Packers need to make to right the ship. dark

Brian Burns, OLB, Carolina Panthers

D.J. Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers

Brian Burns and D.J. Moore are unlikely to be available unless the price is right. However, they’d give Green Bay the best chance to win if they were acquired. Burns would be an immediate upgrade over Smith and give the Packers three great edge rushers to alternate on the field. Moore represents the best wide receiver talent available on the market and someone who could come in immediately and help them win. Maybe they could acquire both in a monster deal?
