The media and fans are beginning to get a clearer picture with the Green Bay Packers kicking off their third week of training camp. Most practices have been available to the media and/or fans, giving us an inside peek into what’s been playing out on the field.

Green Bay also has their first preseason game this Friday which will give us an even better idea about how things are stacking up on the depth chart. Before that, however, let’s check out three alarming developments that have been playing out so far.

These three alarming developments at the Green Bay Packers training camp must worry the coaching staff and fans for the season ahead.

Alarming development at Packers’ training camp: Long-snapper

The Packers brought in a new special teams’ coordinator in Rich Bisaccia–the team’s third in three years. However, not even he might be able to help this unit if they can’t find a reliable long snapper. Green Bay brought in Jack Coco to challenge the incumbent Steven Wirtel, but neither player has been impressive so far.

Coco has gotten most of the first-team reps and has fared better than Wirtel, but it still hasn’t been good enough for Green Bay. It’s probably fair to assume the long-snapper the Packers will roll with this season isn’t currently on the roster.
