Packers who could make first Pro Bowl: Rashan Gary

It’s disappointing Rashan Gary didn’t make the Pro Bowl last season after a breakout campaign. With Za’Darius Smith basically down for the count, Gary stepped into a full-time role and played phenomenally. His specialty was getting after the quarterback where he had a team-high 28 quarterback hits and 9.5 sacks.

With Smith gone to Minnesota, Gary will be featured on the edge once again. And this time, he’ll have a lot more help Green Bay invested heavily into their defensive line which should give the interior offensive line more to focus on, leaving Gary one-on-one on the outside more often. At only 24 years old, he seems poised to take yet another leap.
