The Milwaukee Bucks head into an important off-season as they look to collect another NBA title after failing to defend their championship.

General Manager Jon Horst will be limited in how he can improve the roster to put the Bucks back in a position to win an NBA title for the second time in three seasons.

That is because the Milwaukee Bucks are well over the salary cap and right now have a $19 million luxury tax bill due at the end of the 2022-2023 season.

Horst has four avenues he can use to improve the Bucks. He will need to make sure he hits in those four areas if he hopes to wrestle back the Eastern Conference from the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.

Also, do not think for a second the Philadelphia 76ers are not going to find ways to upgrade their roster to try to leap all three teams.

The Milwaukee Bucks also have to watch out for the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. Both could make the Central Division title race even tighter with some key off-season moves.

The Bulls need to re-sign Zach LaVine and add some shooting. The Cavs need to decide on Collin Sexton. He is coming off a knee injury and is a restricted free agent. They have to decide to commit to him long-term or not.

Cleveland also still has some salary cap space to make some moves to add to the young, emerging roster.

No one said winning a title is easy, but the Milwaukee Bucks can make these five moves to improve their odds of bringing back another Larry O’Brien trophy to Milwaukee.
