Packers’ breakout candidate: Eric Stokes

Eric Stokes quietly had a good rookie campaign and stepped up big time in the absence of Jaire Alexander. There was a lot of noise around Rasul Douglas’s rise–and rightfully so–but don’t sleep on Stokes.

The young cornerback has all the tools to take the next step in Year 2–size, speed, and agility to stay with any wide receiver. Stokes has to improve his tackling a bit and leaves a lot to be desired in his ability to make a play on the ball in the air. However, he’s always in the right spots which only increases his chances to make the right plays.
