The Milwaukee Bucks narrowly escaped with a win over the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Celtics forward Al Horford nearly tied the game with a last-second tip-in, but it was ruled the shot came after time had expired.

Just like that, the Bucks are now up on the Celtics 2-1 in the best of seven series.

Much like Game 1, the Milwaukee Bucks were in a fight in the first half. However, unlike Game 1, when Milwaukee pulled away in the third quarter, the Celtics stormed back in the fourth quarter after being down 13 at the end of the third.

The Celtics had a one-point lead late in the fourth, but Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday made two key buckets during the game’s final minute to put the Bucks ahead.

The Bucks just needed to end the game ahead by one to win, and they ended up winning by two.

The Milwaukee Bucks got three great performances, one good one, and there were two bad parts of the game the Bucks had to overcome to win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was great for the Milwaukee Bucks after a so-so Game 2 performance.

The Milwaukee Bucks got blown out in Game 2 at Boston. Giannis had 28 points, but the Celtics’ defense made it hard for Giannis to get a lot of those points.

He came back in Game 3 with a vengeance. Giannis finished with 42 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists–two short of a triple-double. He shot 16-30 from the field and made nine out of 12 free throws.

This impressive performance also included a clutch layup from Giannis to put the Milwaukee Bucks up for good with just under a minute to go in the game.

Giannis played like the elite player he is. Just do not ask Giannis about the officiating–or the Boston Celtics.
