Although additions can and will be made around the NFL, free agency has very much slowed down. The NFL Draft is now behind us as well and teams have rounded out their rosters with UDFA additions. So at least for the time being, the Gren Bay Packers roster is set.

So with that, I thought I would put together my way too early 53-man roster prediction. Now, of course, a lot will change between now and when these rosters actually have to be set. Green Bay could still choose to add to their roster–as Andy Herman of Packer Report pointed out, at this time one year ago, De’Vondre Campbell, Dennis Kelly, Corey Bojorquez, and Rasul Douglas were not Packers.

In addition to that, as training camp and the preseason unfolds, there is always an under-the-radar player or two who surprises and ends up making the final roster–last year, that player was Jack Heflin, an undrafted rookie. With that said, until the pads come one and we can see these players in action, you’ll notice with most of my back-end of the roster predictions, I went with experience.

For the most part, many of these roster spots are already set in stone, especially on this Green Bay Packers team that has plenty of experience winning games over the last three seasons. However, it’s those fringe roster spots that will be up for grabs–not to mention that trying to guess how many players the Packers will want to keep at specific positions is always an added wrinkle as well.

Again, a lot can and will change, but based on the current construction of the roster, here is my way too early prediction for the Green Bay Packers’ top-53.
