The Green Bay Packers have 11 total picks entering the 2022 NFL Draft and need to make the most out of each of them–both for their short-term goals and long-term team-building. No pressure.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has a lot of talent this offseason and needs to replace it via the draft. It’s a good thing they have two first-rounders, two-second round picks, and five selections in the top 92 picks.

Anything can happen during this annual event so instead of making predictions, I’ll ask some questions. Here are the 10 biggest questions surrounding the Packers ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft.

These are the ten biggest questions surrounding the Green Bay Packers as they enter the crucial 2022 NFL Draft.

Will they target special-teamers?

Green Bay’s special teams somehow got worse in 2021 and cost them a chance to advance to the NFC Championship for the third straight year. That led to head coach Matt La Fleur quickly firing Maurice Drayton and hiring Rich Bisaccia.

However, it’s going to take more than a philosophical approach on the football field. It’s also going to take a philosophical switch on putting the team together. Will the Packers target players later in the draft who can contribute right away on special teams? That’s not how they’ve always operated, but we’ll see if they switch it up this year.
