The Green Bay Packers shocked the NFL world on Thursday night when it was announced they were trading Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for a 2022 first and second round pick. Although there’s a lot to dissect about that deal, it does open up some money for the Packers to spend in free agency.

Green Bay only had about $1 million in cap space before the move, but freed up an additional $19.4 million to work with. If they so desire, they can now begin pursuing free agents and should start with a long look at these four.

With the ability to dip their toes into the free agent waters following their trade of Davante Adams, here are four wide receivers the Packers could sign.

Wide receivers Packers could sign in free agency: DeSean Jackson

Obviously, none of these players can replace the best wide receiver in the game, and that’s especially true with DeSean Jackson. His role in Green Bay would be purely as a deep threat considering they’re severely lacking that top-end speed. Jackson would give them at least one guy who can stretch the defense vertically and get behind the safety. PFF predicts a measly $1.75 million guaranteed for Jackson and a total one-year contract at $3 million.
