The Green Bay Packers have a Davante Adams’ sized problem to fix this offseason, as there’s not a clear path to retaining their superstar wide receiver.

Adams is set to hit unrestricted free agency in March, as he was not able to agree to a contract extension with the team throughout the season. He’s looking for the most money possible (and rightfully so) which creates an issue for the cap-strapped Packers. Green Bay must cut roughly $50 million from their 2022 cap by the start of the new season in March and that doesn’t count whatever money they would need to re-sign Adams.

As Packers’ fans become more comfortable with the possibility of one of the best receivers in franchise history leaving at his peak, let’s take a look at the three most likely landing spots for Adams.

With the future of Green Bay Packers’ star wide receiver Davante Adams up in the air, let’s take a look at the three most likely landing spots for him.

Most likely landing spots for Davante Adams: Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins will have a boatload of money to spend in free agency and if Adams’ number one priority is to get paid, Miami makes a lot of sense. The Dolphins can easily make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL which has been reported to be one of Adams’ goals. Of course, it likely won’t be a winning situation, but it would at least have a lot of money and very nice weather.
