Despite not coming to an agreement on a contract extension with Davante Adams, there’s still time for the Green Bay Packers to get a deal done before the end of the 2021 NFL season.

We usually see a few deals happen before the postseason begins, which means the Packers and Adams have just under two weeks to come to an agreement. It was just last year when Green Bay signed stud left tackle David Bakhtiari to a deal near this same time.

With time still left on the clock, let’s take a look at three bold predictions about an extension between the two parties.

The Green Bay Packers can still sign Davante Adams to a contract extension this season and here’s what it could possibly look like.

Bold prediction for Davante Adams contract extension with Packers: 3. It gets signed before season ends

With the Packers making amends with reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers and it looking more likely that he’ll stick around, that could open the door once again for Adams. Adams and the Packers weren’t able to come to an agreement before the season began, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been having conversations behind closed doors.

I believe the two sides will get a deal done, making Adams one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL with gigantic guaranteed money. After all, he’s proven he’s a top-two receiver in the entire league, and he ain’t two.
