If Aaron Rodgers decides to return to the Green Bay Packers, there are a few players from the team he indirectly owns that could help him get over the playoff hump.

The Chicago Bears are set to have 20 players hit unrestricted free agency.

First, you might be thinking the Bears went 6-11, so why would the Green Bay Packers want anyone from that team?

Just remember the positive impact Julius Peppers and Adrian Amos had when they were lured up north.

Second, the Green Bay Packers are in a salary-cap crunch. According to Over the Cap, the Packers are 50 million over the salary cap heading into the 2022 offseason.

There are a couple of ways they can get under the cap and find the money to spend on free agents to finally get that elusive second Super Bowl ring for Rodgers–if he returns.

There is an indication Rodgers might be back in Green Bay next season.

If Rodgers and Davante Adams come back, the Green Bay Packers would be doing themselves a disservice if they did not make every effort to upgrade the roster to beat the 49ers in the playoffs.

Also, the NFC North is there for the taking again, with Minnesota Vikings and the Bears most likely headed for rebuilds. The Detriot Lions, well come on, it is the Lions. They are always destined to be in last place.

The Bears do have some players that could help upgrade the defense, the passing attack, and most importantly, the special teams unit. Once the Rodgers and cap situation gets resolved, here are some of the Bears’ pending free agents the Green Bay Packers should sign.
