5 Big Questions Revisited from Green Bay Packers Matchup with Ravens
By Paul Bretl
As I do each week, I go through my 5 Big Questions facing the Green Bay Packers in their upcoming matchup. Now as part of my game review, I take a look back at those key questions and how things actually played out.
Q: Will Lamar Jackson play against the Green Bay Packers?
A: He did not but Tyler Huntley looked really good
After suffering an ankle injury the previous Sunday, Lamar Jackson would not practice all week—although he was still listed as questionable. But in the end, it was Tyler Huntley who would start, and the second-year UDFA from Utah really impressed.
The Ravens relied heavily on the quick passing game to get the ball out of Huntley’s hands and to set up easy completions. He was also very effective with his legs, rushing for 73 yards as the Green Bay Packers defense struggled to hold contain. Huntley was also the catalyst behind two fourth quarter touchdowns that gave Baltimore the chance to win the game.
He would finish the day completing 28 of his 40 pass attempts for 215 yards along with two touchdowns and a passer rating of 99.5. I have to imagine Huntley will draw quite a bit of attention this offseason as a potential starter on another team.
