The Green Bay Packers started out slow once again, but were able to overcome a double-digit second-quarter deficit to win by double-digits of their own in defeating the Chicago Bears 45-30 on Sunday Night Football.

The Packers have a bad habit of starting slow this year before working their way back into games. It’s come back to bite them a few times, but they were clearly the more talented team in this matchup. Let’s check out who played well, who struggled, and hand out grades to the offense, defense and special teams.

With the Green Bay Packers’ wild victory over the Chicago Bears, let’s check out the good, bad and hand-out grades to each of the three units.

Packers wild win over Bears: The good: Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, A.J. Dillon, Rasul Douglas

Aaron Rodgers is right back in the thick of the MVP conversation and should be one of the two favorites heading into Week 15. Over the last three games, he’s thrown for 10 touchdowns and over 1,000 yards. He was nearly perfect against Chicago and carved them up once he got in the rhythm of the short-passing game. The only question is just how bad is his toe injury?

Davante Adams started out slow, but eventually found his rhythm in the second quarter. He’s too good to slow down for an entire game and finished with 10 receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns. He torched Jaylon Johnson in a one-on-one for his second touchdown of the night.

A.J. Dillon had the bulk of the carries in the second half and slowly wore down the Bears’ defense. He ended the night with 15 carries for 71 yards, but his physicality clearly had its effect.

We should give the defense some love as well. For the second time this season, and second straight game, Rasul Douglas broke on a pass, picked it off, and returned it down the sideline for a touchdown. His Cinderella season continues, as he’s clearly established himself as a starting cornerback for Green Bay.
