3 under the radar free agents Milwaukee Brewers could target
It comes with the territory as a small market team that the Milwaukee Brewers must scour the free-agent market for steals and deals. They can’t compete with the big boys when it comes to the big-name free agents as much as they’d like.
If they want to truly push themselves over the edge following four-straight playoff appearances, they need to hit on a couple of low-key free agent signings. Here are three guys that are flying under the radar who could potentially help them achieve their ultimate goal.
The Milwaukee Brewers will have to find some good deals in free agency this offseason to take the next step toward the World Series.
Under the radar free agents for Brewers: Ehire Adrianza, Utility
You know Craig Counsell loves himself a utility guy–they just acquired one in Mike Brosseau from the Rays. However, Ehire Adrianza could give them another option in case Brosseau struggles again.
Adrianza can play all over the infield and the outfield corners and he’ll provide solid defense from every spot as well. Offensively, he’s not the greatest, but he is serviceable. He’s a switch hitter with good plate discipline and he makes solid contact. His power is basically non-existent which detracts a big part from his approach at the plate.
