Most intriguing trade candidates for Packers: Hayden Hurst, Tight End, Atlanta Falcons

One of the most likely positions Green Bay trades for is tight end considering they just lost Robert Tonyan for the season. Tonyan was just starting to turn on the jets this season and they’ll need to figure out a way to replace him in their lineup.

Hayden Hurst has gotten better every single season of his career and had 56 receptions for 571 yards and six touchdowns in 2020. However, the Falcons drafted Kyle Pitts this year and Hurst is now an afterthought.

The Packers could acquire his services for a relatively cheap price considering he’s a free agent to be. That would also play well in Green Bay, as they can’t really afford to add more money in 2022 and beyond. Hurst could come in and pick up where he left off a year ago with the Falcons.
