Despite coming out with the victory on Thursday night over the previously undefeated Arizona Cardinals, the Green Bay Packers suffered a couple of major blows to key players. One of them was to Robert Tonyan who was lost for the season with a knee injury, causing a major hole at tight end.

Tonyan started the season slow, but was coming on in recent weeks. His injury means the Packers need to shift gears and explore a possible trade with the deadline coming up next week. Here are three trade targets Green Bay should consider at tight end.

With news that Robert Tonyan is out for the season, the Green Bay Packers should target any of these three tight ends in a trade.

Tight ends Packers should target: Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers

Green Bay fans are probably familiar with Eric Ebron after he started his career with the Detroit Lions. He’s never lived up to the first-round hype but he would still be a nice receiving option for the Packers. Ebron’s gotten off to a slow start this year and he’s expendable in Pittsburgh. The Steelers have a long-term option at the position and they seem to be falling out of the playoff race. Green Bay could swoop in for a low offer to improve their tight end room.
