Packers victory over Washington: The good, the bad and the grade

Packers victory over Washington: The grade

The Packers’ offense scored 24 points against Washington, but they still haven’t quite clicked yet this season. There were a number of protection breakdowns and Matt LaFleur appeared to abandon the run quite early. They’ll have to clean some things up moving forward.

Offense: B

The defense gave up a ton of yards and allowed Washington to move the ball up and down the field all day. However, despite not punting once in the game, the Football Team only scored 10 points against the Packers’ defense and that’s the name of the game. Green Bay stepped up when and where it mattered most.

Defense: B+

Even despite the blocked kick, the special teams was actually pretty solid in this game. Punter Corey Bojorquez continues to be a stud, nailing his three punts on the day. They also didn’t give up a big return on kickoffs–another step in the right direction.
