Packers victory over Washington: The bad: Field goal unit, offensive line

Some sort of special teams unit seems to be featured in this section every week. Although there were positives from this unit on Sunday, their field goal team wasn’t necessarily one of them. Mason Crosby had a field goal blocked on yet another protection breakdown–this time from the interior of the line. This unit makes kicking a field goal very interesting, and not in the good way.

The patchwork offensive line has held up fairly well all year long, but Sunday was certainly an exception. Washington’s defensive line is very good and they flexed on Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers was sacked three times and hit six others. Jon Runyan Jr. and Lucas Patrick were a part of a few of the breakdowns.
