No more worrying about what happened during Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints; it’s time to continue shifting our focus to Week 2, where the Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football.

Like the Packers, as well as the rest of the NFC North, the Lions are coming off a Week 1 loss. They also fell behind quite quickly, trailing San Francisco 38 to 10 at one point, although credit to them for fighting back.

As I do every week as part of my preview, I have my big questions facing the Green Bay Packers–and this week, there are seven of them.

Will the Green Bay Packers bounce back?

We might as well get the big question out of the way, right? After being dominated in every phase of the game against New Orleans and losing in embarrassing fashion 38-3, it’s fair to wonder how this Packers team is going to respond.

Well, if history tells us anything — and by history, I mean the Matt LaFleur era — Green Bay is going to respond very well.  Under LaFleur, the Packers haven’t lost often, but when they do, it’s usually ugly. However, they bounce back every time and do so quite convincingly.

Green Bay has never lost back-to-back games under LaFleur, and they win the next game by an average of 14 points. It also doesn’t hurt that they’ll be up against a Lions team that the Packers are much more talented than, and the game is taking place at Lambeau Field.

Of course, as they say, past performance is not indicative of future results, and although Detroit isn’t as talented, as we saw in Week 1, they are going to play hard for all 60 minutes.
