The Green Bay Packers have one final preseason game remaining, as they take on the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. That means one final opportunity for players on the bubble to make a strong push for the final roster.

It’s hard to believe, but most of training camp is already wrapped up. All the major practices are completed with one lighter walkthrough remaining on Friday. Then, the last hurdle is Saturday’s game before the front office has to cut the roster down to 53 on Tuesday.

Most of the guys on the team’s already have a strong idea of what their future will hold on the team–whether that be locks for the team or getting cut. However, there’s a smaller portion who could either get cut or make the team. Let’s take a look at five Packers who are squarely on the bubble heading into the final preseason game.

These five Green Bay Packers are squarely on the bubble of making the roster heading into the final preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.

5. Yosh Nijman

The Packers have a deep and talented offensive line and there will be very difficult decisions made by Tuesday. Yosh Nijman’s status on the team could come down to whether David Bakhtiari begins the season on the PUP or not. Dennis Kelly likely has the lead on Nijman as the Packers’ backup swing tackle with Billy Turner, Elgton Jenkins and the aforementioned Bakhtiari also able to play on the outside. Does Green Bay need five guys who can play tackle? That’s a question they’ll need to answer.

4. Jack Heflin

Despite the Packers’ lack of talent along the defensive line, it’s one of the hardest positions to crack for an undrafted free agent such as Jack Heflin. That’s because they’ll likely only keep five guys (Kenny Clark, Kinglsey Keke, TJ Slaton, Dean Lowry and Tyler Lancaster). Heflin has had a strong camp, but Green Bay will have to be willing to part with either Lowry or Lancaster if they want to keep Heflin. That’s a gamble, to say the least.

3. Juwann Winfree

Juwann Winfree got off to an extremely strong start this year, but an injury has all but halted the momentum he created. His roster chances breathe life once again due to Devin Funchess going on the injured reserve. However, it will take a gigantic performance against the Bills to upset Malik Taylor.

2. Innis Gaines

The Packers have a couple of tough decisions to make at the bottom of their depth chart at both secondary positions. Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage are locks with Henry Black and Vernon Scott probables to make the team. Will Redmond’s injury helps Innis Gaines, who came out of nowhere to make a lot of noise. The Packers would have to take a risk on Gaines or be willing to keep five safeties for him to make the squad.

1. Kabian Ento

Sticking with the secondary, Green Bay has another tough decision to make at cornerback. Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Eric Stokes, Shemar Jean-Charles and Chandon Sullivan are locks for the team. That makes five. If the Packers want to keep six, Kabian Ento is their man. Ento has had a strong training camp and has proven himself worthy of a spot. He still has to convince Green Bay he’s worth it AND beat out Isaac Yiadom.
