May 12th is when the NFL is set to release their schedules for the upcoming season, but as is tradition, there are always some leaks that take place beforehand. For the Green Bay Packers, they are looking to remain at the top of the NFC North and attempt to finally get over that NFC Championship hump once again—that is, assuming Aaron Rodgers is under center.
We know who the Packers will be playing already, but the order of those games is also very important. Are there any long stretches away from home? When does the bye week fall? How many home games will be at Lambeau Field in December? Are there any particularly difficult stretches or easy ones? How many prime-time games does Green Bay have? And, of course, there will be a 17th game this season as well.
